Coastal Pantry: Bokkom Biltong With A Story
Occasion: Easy weekday, Effortless entertaining, Shameless snacking
Ingredients
1 packet of Bokkom Biltong With A Story from the Coastal Pantry
4 heaped tbsp of unsalted butter
6 thick slices of ciabatta
2-3 tbsp of olive oil
1 red chilli, thinly sliced
juice of half a lemon
handful of parsley, roughly chopped
salt & pepper to taste
Method
- Thinly slice or shred the Bokkom Biltong.
- Rub the ciabatta sliced with olive oil on both sides.
- Heat a griddle pan and place slices of bread on the griddle and cook for 3-4 minutes each side until crisped and brown.
- Heat a frying pan and melt the butter. Add the bokkom and the chilli. Swirl around in the butter until frothy.
- Take the pan off the heat and squeeze juice of half the lemon over it.
- Add the parley, give it a stir and divide equally between the grilled ciabatta.
