Sour Fig Jam (Suurvygie Konfyt) lovingly crafted by women in small-scale fishing communities – is the perfect accompaniment to creamy, oozy, camembert cheese. 

Celebrate our proud coastal cultural heritage with this product offering from the ABALOBI COASTAL PANTRY.

Ingredients

1 jar of Sour Fig Jam With A Story from the Coastal Pantry  

1 camembert cheese

crackers or ciabatta



Method

  1. Remove the camembert cheese from the fridge and allow it to soften at room temperature.

  2. Alternatively, place the cheese in a small oven-proof dish and bake at 180 °C for 10 minutes. 

  3. Smother the baked or unbaked camembert with Sour Fig Jam and smear lavishly on crackers or ciabatta.
